Mangaluru: A 22-year-old Sangh Parivar member was arrested by Mulki Police on Wednesday for allegedly filming his neighbor woman while she was taking a bath. 

The accused, identified as Sumanth Poojary from Hosakadu in Pakshikere, is known to be an active member of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike's Pakshikere unit.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday night around 11:00 in the Kemral Grama Panchayat area near Paksikere’s Hosakadu, came to light a little later. It is reported that Sumanth surreptitiously recorded the woman's video while she was bathing in the bathroom. When the woman noticed the mobile camera, she raised an alarm, prompting neighbors and locals to gather at the scene. They caught hold of Sumanth and immediately informed the local police.
