Sirsi: An 23-year-old man, identified as Danesh Dodmani from Inampur in Kundgol, Dharwad district, met with a fatal accident at Muregar waterfalls, Sirsi on Sunday.

The victim, Danesh Dodmani, employed at a private company, had embarked on a picnic to Muregar waterfalls with five friends from Hubballi-Dharwad.

 Danesh found himself ensnared in the water swirl and succumbed to drowning. 

Sirsi Rural Police have registered a case.
