Suratkal: Pedestrian Critically Injured in Bike Mishap; Rider Succumbs to Injuries

 Suratkal: A tragic incident occurred near Padre Dwar on the Mukka National Highway 66  leaving a bike rider dead and a pedestrian critically injured on Saturday.

The deceased, Vaibhav Vishwanath, was a student at Mukka Srinivasa College and a resident of Hosabettu. 

The critically injured pedestrian has been identified as M.C. Farooq, former general secretary of Mukka Juma Masjid.

Vaibhav Vishwanath was on his way to college in Mukka when he collided with M.C. Farooq, who was crossing the highway. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving Vaibhav Vishwanath dead on the spot and M.C. Farooq critically injured.

A case has been registered in Mangalore North Traffic Police Station.
