VTU convocation on February 24; 700-plus will get PhD certs

The convocation of the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU-Belagavi) has been scheduled for February 24 at the Jnana Sangama campus here. Governor Thawarchand Gehlot will preside over the convocation. Professor TG Sitharam, chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), will be the chief guest. Higher education minister CN Ashwath Narayan will be present too.
