Two-Day Train Service Disruption on November 24-25 for Platform Construction

Mangaluru: Platform construction at Mangaluru Central will lead to disruptions in train services on November 24 and 25 due to a Mega Block aimed at adding an extra platform to the station.

Cancellation of train services: On November 24, Train No.06487 Mangaluru Central-Kabaka Puttur Express and Train No.06486 Kabaka Puttur-Mangaluru Central Express stand fully canceled. Additionally, on November 25, Train No.06485 Mangaluru Central-Kabaka Puttur Express and Train No.06484 Kabaka Puttur-Mangaluru Central Express are fully canceled.

Short termination of train services: Train No.10107 Madgaon Junction – Mangaluru Central MEMU Express, scheduled to depart from Madgaon Junction on November 24, will be short-terminated at Thokur. The train will experience partial cancellation between Thokur and Mangaluru Central. Meanwhile, Train No.06601 Madgaon Junction – Mangaluru Central Express Special, set to depart from Madgaon Junction on November 24, will be short-terminated at Mangaluru Junction, with partial cancellation between Mangaluru Junction and Mangaluru Central.

Change in the origination of train services: On November 24, Train No.10108 Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Junction MEMU Express will commence its journey from Thokur station instead of Mangaluru Central. The service will be partially canceled between Mangaluru Central and Thokur (Departure time at Thokur is 4.25 pm). Similarly, Train No.22638 Mangaluru Central – Dr. MGR Chennai Central West Coast Superfast Express will originate from Mangaluru Junction instead of Mangaluru Central on November 24 (Scheduled Departure time at Mangaluru Junction is 11.45 pm).

On November 25, Train No.16610 Mangaluru Central – Kozhikode Express will commence its journey from Mangaluru Junction instead of Mangaluru Central (Scheduled Departure time at Mangaluru Junction is 5.15 am).

Rescheduling of train services: On November 21, 22, 24, and 25, Train No.06602 Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Junction Express Special, originally scheduled to depart at 5.30 am, will be rescheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 6 am on the same day (late by 30 minutes). Additionally, on November 25, Train No.16649 Mangaluru Central - Nagercoil Junction Express Special, scheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 5.05 am, will be rescheduled to leave at 5.35 am on the same day (late by 30 minutes).

Regulation of train services: On November 24, Train No.22637 Dr. MGR Chennai Central - Mangaluru Central West Coast Superfast Express is slated to be regulated for 30 minutes en route.
