Udupi: An incident of public unrest occurred when four members of the same family, accused of a heinous crime in Udupi, were taken to the scene of the crime for a visit.

Upon their arrival, hundreds of people gathered, expressing outrage and demanding that the accused be handed over to them for punishment. The crowd attempted to storm the police vehicle carrying the accused, prompting police intervention to disperse the agitated public. Some individuals sustained injuries during the scuffle.

"Give us 30 seconds, we'll take care of him," shouted the enraged public, expressing their disdain for the police. The atmosphere remained tense for a while, and the accused were eventually escorted away by the police amidst the unrelenting public anger.

In the meantime, a group of protesters blocked the road, demanding the presence of the Superintendent of Police (SP) and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) at the scene.
