Udupi: Thieves broke into a house under the Shirva police station's jurisdiction and looted lakhs of rupees. 

An incident of theft of valuables has occurred. 

The thieves broke the lock of Saida's rented house sometime between October 13 to October 19  and stole Rs. 98,000, which was kept in a bag inside the cupboard, along with gold worth Rs. 16,700. It has been reported that cash and ATM cards were also stolen. 

A case has been registered at the Shirva Police Station.
