Kasaragod: A 19-year-old girl, identified as Rena Fatima, was discovered dead by hanging in her flat in Adka near Bandiyod, Kasaragod. 

Rena's family noticed her absence on Sunday morning. 

Upon breaking open a locked room, they found her lifeless body hanging from a fan. 

The police, informed of a potential harassment issue, have initiated an investigation. 

Rena Fatima's mobile has been confiscated.
