Mangaluru: The Mangaluru city police have swiftly taken action against a city bus driver caught on camera using a mobile phone while operating the vehicle. The incident came to light when a video of the driver's dangerous act went viral on social media platforms. 

In response, City Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar R Jain confirmed that appropriate measures have been taken against the negligent bus driver at the south traffic police station.

Commissioner Jain further asserted that the driver's actions posed a serious threat to public safety, and as a consequence, his driving license would be sent to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) for cancellation.
