Mangaluru: A delegation from the Muslim Central Committee met with the Commissioner of Police to formally request action against Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt on Saturday.
The appeal, made on behalf of Alhaj KS Muhammad Masood, the President of The Muslim Central Committee, emphasizes the need for stringent measures against Bhatt due to derogatory statements he has reportedly made about Muslim women.
The committee has expressed concerns that Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt may disrupt peace in the region and has urged the inclusion of his name in the rowdy sheet list, accompanied by an exile order preventing him from entering the coastal district. Furthermore, the committee recommends the withdrawal of government-provided bodyguards for Bhatt. They have also called for increased vigilance over Bhatt's supporters and emphasized the importance of taking appropriate actions, given the potential threat to the district's harmony, especially in the context of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
