Mangaluru: Mangaluru police arrested Preetham Acharya, 38, a resident of Jappinamogaru, who was absconding for 13 years in a case registered at Urwa police station.

The court issued a warrant against him as he failed to appear for the hearing.

The police arrested him from a hotel in Mumbai where he was working as a manager.

He was produced in a court in Mangaluru on Monday and remanded in judicial custody.
