Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Police Commissioner has recently issued externment orders against 10 additional rowdy sheeters, expanding the effort to curb criminal activities within the Commissionerate limits. This decisive action, spearheaded by Commissioner Anupam Agarwal, aims to uphold law and order, especially in light of the upcoming elections.
Among those affected by the externment orders are individuals like Suhail (21) from Kasba Bengre, Nikshith Poojary, also known as Nishith (21) from Kannur, and Sunil (24) from Someshwar, among others. By targeting these individuals, including Latish Nayal, Yatish, Dharmalinga alias Dharma, Kannur Dayambu Haneez, Tejpal R Kukian, Ansar, and Abhishek alias Abhi, the police seek to disrupt criminal networks operating within the city.
This action builds upon previous measures, as the police had already issued externment orders against 19 other rowdy sheeters and applied the Goonda Act against three individuals. Additionally, bonds have been obtained from 367 persons to prevent their involvement in criminal activities, further reinforcing the commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
