Sirsi: MLA Bhimanna Naik has pledged to address the challenges faced by schools in Sirsi. He plans to approach the new Primary & Secondary Education Minister, advocating for an adequate number of teachers and improved infrastructure in the schools within the Sirsi taluk.

During his visit to MLA Model School No 2 and other government schools in Sirsi, Naik engaged in discussions with teachers and members of the school development monitoring committee. He expressed concern over the presence of mud walls in many schools, emphasizing the potential risks they pose. To mitigate this, he proposed the demolition of these structures and the subsequent construction of new buildings. Additionally, he stressed the need for repairs to dilapidated rooms and the provision of a permanent solution to address water problems in several schools.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Naik highlighted a shortage of 162 teachers in the taluk. He assured the press that he would bring these pressing issues to the attention of the Education Minister, advocating for their prompt resolution. By doing so, Naik aims to ensure a safer and more conducive learning environment for students in Sirsi.
