Bantwal: Housing, Minority Welfare and Waqf Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan said that education is essential for everyone and that nothing can be achieved without it.
He was speaking at the inauguration of a high school building constructed in the campus of Mittur Darul Irshad KGN of Bantwal Taluk under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Yojana on behalf of the Minority Welfare Department and District Administration of Dakshina Kannada.
He said that the BJP government had canceled many scholarship programs that the Congress government had started, but that the Congress government would once again provide scholarships to more than 5 lakh students, including 5 lakhs to students pursuing medical education.
Karnataka Assembly Speaker UT Khader, Municipal Administration and Haj Minister Rahim Khan, Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner Muhilan, former Minister B.
