Mangaluru: A pedestrian was fatally struck by a KSRTC bus headed from Mangaluru to Bengaluru on Monday night. 

The accident occurred due to alleged negligence by the bus driver, Ramakrishna, near Mittabail in B Mooda.

The unidentified pedestrian sustained injuries and was initially taken to a Bantwal hospital before being transferred to Wenlock District Hospital in Mangaluru. 

Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries in the ICU the following morning. The incident is under police investigation.
