Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually inaugurate the Mangaluru-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express at 10 am through a video conferencing event from Ayodhya.
The inaugural run of the express train will be celebrated with a grand reception at Udupi, Karwar, and Madgaon Junction.
The Vande Bharat Express, departing from Mangaluru Central at 8.30 am, will follow a timetable that takes it to Madgaon at 1.15 pm. Notable stops on the way include Udupi at 9.48 am, Karwar at 12.08 pm, and Madgaon Junction at 4.40 pm during the inaugural run.
Upon the return journey, the express train will leave Madgaon at 6.10 pm, reaching Mangaluru Central at 10.45 pm. Udupi and Karwar will be stops at 9.12 pm and 6.55 pm, respectively. It's important to note that the Vande Bharat Express will not operate on Thursdays.
