Mangaluru: A couple from Tamil Nadu, who were working as rubber tappers in Sullia, were found dead at their home on Tuesday morning. 

The couple, identified as Rajan and his spouse, had recently become owners of a rubber farm in Elimale.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of death. However, preliminary investigations suggest that the couple may have committed suicide.

The couple's bodies have been taken to the Sullia Government Hospital for post-mortem.
