Mangaluru: Mangaluru and its neighboring areas experienced heavy rain accompanied by thunder on Saturday morning. The sky remained cloudy throughout the day.
Due to rough sea conditions caused by the cyclone in the Arabian Sea, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an advisory, urging fishermen to refrain from venturing into the sea until June 12. Furthermore, the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services cautioned that the coast would be battered by high waves ranging from 3.5 to 4.1 meters until June 11.
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has forecasted rain accompanied by strong winds in Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Kolar, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada.

Three Person injured in Kavoor, a massive tree fell onto a residence, causing injuries to three members of a family. The injured individuals were identified as Sadanand, his wife Rathna, and their daughter. The house, along with its belongings, was severely damaged.
In another incident at Pulthadka in Savanalu, a tree toppled onto an electricity pole, resulting in damage to the wires.
