Bhatkal: A unique awareness program was organized by the students of the NSS Unit, Electoral Literacy Club, and the Skill Development Association Deshpande Skilling of Sri Guru Sudhindra College, Bhatkal, aimed at fostering voting awareness among young voters for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Under the theme "Please Make The Right Vote" and "Let's Vote," murals were displayed by the students at Mavinakurve beach in the taluk. They took a pledge to vote and encouraged others to do the same. 

College Principal Srinath Pai provided training to the students on taking online pledges for voting through sweep. 

The voting awareness procession, led by Jatha Mukhena, visited houses, ports, and shop fronts of Mavinakurve Gram Panchayat, urging everyone to participate in the voting process.

NSS Unit Coordinator Shantaraya Gonda, Vinayaka Nayka, professors, Coach Cecilia Pinto, students, and villagers were present.
