Puttur: A motorist was killed on the spot after a tanker rammed his vehicle and run over him near Nelyadi in Puttur of Dakshina Kannada, on NH 75.

The deceased is identified as Jagadish, 44, a resident of Kadambila in Konalu village.

Jagadish, a tailor by profession, was on his way to Konalu from Nelyadi when the accident occurred.

A case has been registered.
