Riyadh: The Riyadh unit of Gangolli Muslim Jamaat (GMJ) organized its annual Eid milan ‘Eid-ul-Adha Event 2016’ at Al Azizia Al Fakhra Resort, Riyadh on September 12 where arrangements were also made for animal sacrifice (qurbani) in the morning.
The programme commenced with Qiraath and Naath. Br. Mohammed Abdul Fatha Mh welcomed guests Maulana Abdul Rub (JMG DAMMAM),Anwar Chougley, Kolkar Jafar, Bedre Ibrahim, Khalife Zakriya, Maulana Abu Mohammed and brother Abdussalaam Maulana (Treasurer) and then proceeded to announce the accounts, yearly reports and various activities.
GMJ executive members kept the crowd entertained throughout the programme. Around 100 guests were seated at the auditorium. Separate arrangements were made for the ladies section where they enjoyed the programme. Games were conducted for the children and the ladies as well.
All the expenses of the event was shared by the Jamaath well wishers.
A Special Cricket tournament was arranged, which made all the gentlemen excited for a good match. All the prizes were sponsored by the well - wishers for the various games for all the guests.
The outdoor games for men such as Tug-of-War and 30 yards cricket tournament was arranged by Thoufeeq Gangolli and Shaikh Jafar. The children enjoyed games such as Running Race, Frog Race, Sack Race, Musical Chair, while for the ladies Hit the wicket/Ring the pin was conducted. All the guests participated with great enthusiasm and were highly entertained. The lucky winners were gifted with attractive prizes.
Delicious food such as Biryani / soft drinks was provided to all the members gathered. Kolkar Jafar, Bedre Ibrahim, Abdul Fatha, Moulana Abu Mohammed, Abdus Salam Moulana, Shaikh Nasrulla,Shaikh Jafar, Thoufiq Gangolli, Sharif Shaikh Salim, Salam Gangolli, Kauseef, put in a lot of effort to make this event successful.
All the Sponsors, Donors, Volunteers, Attendees and Executive Committee Members were thanked for extending their support for this noble cause and making this event a grand success.
