Riyadh: Indian Social Forum, helps stranded Malathi Naik to return back India.

Riyadh: Indian Social Forum has once again extended its helping hand to an Indian expat worker to return back to India.

Malathi, an Indian from Udupi, came to the Wadi Dawasir Which is more than 600 KM away from Riyadh with a dream and an intention of earning good livelihood for his family. She had come through an agent to work for a Hospital Nurse, with all service benefits.

However, upon landing in Wadi Dawasir, Riyadh, Malathi was forced to work as a house maid in his Visa Sponsors house. At beginning Malathi refused to work as maid but her Sponsor insists her to do so, she agrees as no option left for her.

It continues more than nine months, her sponsor refused her to pay salary and didnt provide even mobile phone to have contact with her home.

As his outrage escalates she finally contacted to her family in India and explains all situations. After this appalling news her family member wants to bring her back from Saudi Arabia. They urge Sandeep Shetty Udupi who is working in Jeddah to help in this regards.

Sandeep Shetty contacted Indian Social Forum and discussed all major possibilities to send her return back to India.

Indian Social Forum team led by Ismail Mangalapete, Shahul Hameed Vamanjooru and Sayed Abdul Haq immediately rushed to helps Malathi Naik.

First of all they called her and gave soothing and greatly comforted talk and promised her to make all arrangements to go back home.

But Malathi Naik ran away from her sponsor house and called Ismail Mangalapete, Shahul Hameed Vamanjooru to help, as Wadi Dawasir is very far from Riyadh it’s a grim to shift her to safe place.

Social Forum team contacted Abdul Raheem hailing from Tamil Nadu who is working in Wadi Dawasir to support in this concern. The Sponsor of Abdul Raheem agrees to take her in his house and provides all basic facility to pleasant stay.

On the other end Social Forum regularly contacted Indian Embassy office in Riyadh to make immediate repatriation Malathi Naik.

Finally Social Forum succefully handovers Malathi Naik from Wadi Dawasir to Indian Embassy office Riyadh.

On Saturday 3rd September morning, she departed from King Khalid International Airport Riradh to Udupi via Bangalore.

Malathi had no words to appreciate Indian Social Forum’s help, and was extremely grateful to the association.

She conveyed her thanks to the team and wished that their efforts would continue in the coming days, and returned back home happily.

 

Indian Social Forum, Riyadh received special appreciation and thanks for its commendable services of helping a fellow Indian.
