Karwar: Forest officials of Sirsi range on Saturday seized around 75 kgs of sandalwood worth Rs 7 lakh and a two-wheeler at Hulekal village in Sirsi taluk.

The staff, who were on a night-round in Hulekal forest area, noticed two men carrying sandalwood on their two-wheeler. On seeing the police, they fled the spot leaving sandalwood and two-wheeler.
