Haliyal: There has been no trace so far of a school principal who has been missing since September 3. Police have got no clues yet into the motive behind the disappearance of Vijaya Suryakant Angadi, 46, principal and president of Little Flower English Medium School, Haliyal.

A police complaint has lodged by the younger sister of Vijaya along with a member of the school committee, on Sunday. According to Dayanand Pawar, DySP Dandeli, search is on to trace Vijaya but there have beeen no clues so far.

The exact reason for Vijaya’s missing is also not known. Nirmala in her complaint had said that Vijaya, who has been ailing for long, had informed Nirmala and other relatives at home that she was going to the civil hospital in Dharwad for a check-up. She was not seen since then.
