Sirsi: Two persons were killed after the motorbike they were riding skidded on the road which was wet due to rains on Sunday morning. Police said the incident occurred on Hubli - Sirsi highway, when they were going towards Sirsi from Hubli.

They were identified as Maltesh and Raja sahab, both from Koliwada in Koppal district. According to sources, they were on curving road at Ekkambi with high speed when the motorcycle lost control and suddenly slipped on the road.

A case has been registered at the Manki police station.
