Karwar: A special drive for revision of voter's list will be held in Uttara Kannada district on October 23, informed Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul.

He said the last day for submitting applications for revision in voter's list of six assembly constituencies was October 31. Chief Election Officer had directed for special drive in every booth on October 23.

On the day, BLO will be present in every booth.

Voters whose names have not been added and those who want to ensure their names are in voter's list can go to the booth and review the list. The names of the people that were not present in the  list were asked to take Form no 6, 7, 8, 8A from the BLO.

“This is a golden opportunity for those wanting to get their names included in the list or revise it”, said the DC in a press release.
