Bhatkal: The Bhatkal Police conducted sports meet for children attached to Police Boys and Girls Clubs (PBGC) on Sunday, 2nd December.

The meet was held at Police Ground in Bhatkal.

Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Sajid Mulla inaugurated the meet by releasing pigeons. 

After inaugurating the event, Mr. Sajid Mulla said sports also helps develop leadership qualities and build friendly relations. He said that children these days are more addicted to electronic gadgets. The parents must involve their children in outdoor games.

The sports meet was held to Police stations of Murdeshwar, Manki, Honnavar, Kumta and Gokarna.

DySP Valentine D'Souza, Uttara Kannada Journalists Association President Radhakrishna Bhat, CPI Ganesh and many otehrs were present.
