Mangaluru: The Anti Rowdy Squad and Urwa police have arrested three persons and seized 7.1 kg of ganja at Kodikal Cross.

DCP Crime Uma Prashanth has identified the arrested as Kareppa Lakshman Sunadoli (50) of Toranagatti in Belagavi, Gangappa Padeppa Madera (39) of Vijayapura district, Siddarayappa (36) of Gokak in Belagavi district.

The trio were travelling to Kasargod from Vijayapura to sell ganja when they were arrested. The police have seized three mobilephones, two bikes and Rs 315 cash.

The total value of the seized goods is Rs 3,13,315.
