Mangaluru: The police arrested three youth in connection with the murder of Charanraj Rai (28) at Perlampady in Kolthige village in Puttur on Saturday.

SP Rishikesh Sonawane said that three accused youth, Narmesh Rai (29), Nithil Shetty (23) and Vijesh (22) from Pallathadka of Keyyoor village were arrested on Sunday.

Charanraj Rai was a prime accused in the murder of Hindu Jagarana Vedike Puttur secretary Karthik Merla and was released on bail 18 months ago.
