Yellapur: A tribal woman was gang raped at Halasinakoppa village in Yellapur taluk recently.

According to sources, police have filed case against Ananth Vishnu Kotha Elehalli and Rajesh Naik Hithahalli in this connection.

The women is said to belong to Siddi tribe and a resident of Surabail in the taluk.

A case has been registered at Yellapur Police Station.
