Maharashtra: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday dared the BJP to break their alliance in the upcoming Zilla parishad, Thane Municipal Corporation and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections and then his party will show what the surgical strike is.

"I dare the BJP to break alliance in the upcoming zilla parishad, \Thane Municipal Corporation and BMC elections, and then we will show what surgical strike is," said Thackeray while addressing a Ramleela function gathering here.

Congratulating the Indian Army and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for surgical strikes, Thackeray said, "We (Shiv Sena) were the first to oppose Pakistani artistes, writers etc."

Urging the government to decide what relationship it wants with Pakistan, the Shiv Sena chief told Prime Minister Modi not to stop after surgical strike.

Slamming Rahul Gandhi's 'dalali' remarks, Thackeray sought to know from him from where the Congress vice president learnt that term - "Bofors".

Demanded a change in election campaigning, the Shiv Sena chief said, "The Prime Minister and the chief minister take oath to see everyone as equal, how can then they ask for votes for someone against someone else. There should be a change
