Udupi: 3 arrested for carrying Rs 1.65 crore unaccounted cash in train

Udupi: The railway police have arrested three persons when they were found carrying an unaccounted cash amount of Rs. 1.65 crore with them in a train.

According to the sources, three persons of Rajasthan origin were travelling in air-conditioned bogie of Netravathi Express moving from Mumbai to Kerala at 4.30 AM by the railway police. As the police found these persons suspicious, they searched the luggage they were carrying. A cash of around Rs 1.65 crore was in their possession for which they did not have any records. They said that they were going to buy a property.

Manipal police is investigating the case.
