Udupi: The police will investigate the death of a couple at Heggunje from all angles, said Additional SP Siddalingappa. 

The couple from Bengaluru had reportedly self-immolated in a car on May 22. At the outset, it looks like a suicide.

A death note was found in a hotel where the couple had stayed. The note did not mention the names of anyone as a reason for the deaths. 

Yashvanth Yadav (24) and Jyothi (22) are the victims. Their families had conducted the last rites in Udupi itself.

The exact cause of death will be known after the post mortem report reaches the police.
