Udupi: Two students drowned in a river near Macchattu in Kundapura.

Ganesh and Sumanth Madivala, both aged 18 years, are the deceased.

Both belonged to Ulluru-74 village and are junior college students at Shankaranarayana.

A case has been registered at the Amasebailu police station.
