Bhatkal: Barrak Shaikh, a Class 10 student of Ittihad Public School (IPS) in Valki village, has achieved the rare honour of completing the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an while continuing his modern education. With this remarkable accomplishment, he has become the first student in the school’s history to complete Hifz-e-Qur’an, marking a proud milestone for the institution.
According to the school administration, Barrak completed the memorisation of the Qur’an after three years of continuous hard work, dedication, and discipline. During this journey, he received special guidance and supervision from Maulana Syed Furqan, Head of the Hifz Department, whose efforts played a key role in helping him achieve this distinction.
The school administration congratulated Barrak Shaikh S/o Khaja Shaikh for attaining this noble honour and described it as an inspiring example for students who aim to balance modern education with religious learning. They also appreciated the sincere efforts and commitment of Maulana Syed Furqan.
To celebrate this achievement, the school has planned a grand felicitation ceremony in December, where members of the Sharavathi Council and other distinguished guests are expected to attend.
