Vigilance Awareness Week observed in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 was observed in Bhatkal with pledges to fight and  eradicate corruption to achieve the vision of  ‘New India’.

The Anti Corruption Bureau, Karwar in collaboration with the Bhatkal Police department organized a program at New English PU College Bhatkal in connection with the Vigilance Awareness Week 2018.

Anti Corruption Bureau  Karwar, DYSP Girish SV, while delivering the keynote address, said, government of India has set a vision  to make a new India by eradicating corruption. He stressed the importance of good governance and the effective use of control measures to improve performance and to eliminate corruption.

Prior to function, a rally was taken out from New English school to Bhatkal eductaion truct campus Sagar Road.
 
A large number of students from the school took integrity pledge at the school premises and took part in the rally displaying placards of ‘Eradicate Corruption-Build a New India’.

ACP Inspector Ramesh, BEO Munji MR, New English PU College Pricnicpal Veerender Shanbag, CPI Ganesh and many others were present.
