Bhatkal: In a road accident, that happened in Haduwalli in Bhatkal taluk, a woman was killed who was identified as Sita Naik (38).

As per the information received, the incident occurred when the victim Sita Naik along with her husband Krishna Naik was on the way to her house from Haduwalli to Mundalli in Bhatkal on bike. On the way, they met with an accident after losing the control of bike when the stray dog came in between the road. As soon as they fell from bike, she received serious injuries on her head, as a result, died.

The body was then shifted to Bhatkal govt hospital for post mortem.

The deceased Sita Naik was survived by two sons

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station and investigations are on.
