Yellapur: One person sustained grievous injuries after a goods pick-up van, in which he was plying lamentably toppled, that took place on NH-52 near Chikkamawalli village limits on Hubli road in Yellapur on 15th September, Wednesday.

The grievously injured victim has been identified as Suresh Shekar Jatta, a resident of Udupi.

It is said that, the incident reported when the speeding pickup van was on the way towards Yellapur from Hubli. Observing the sudden approach of a bike from opposite side, the driver of a pickup van trembled, that led him to apply sudden brakes, which inturn resulted him to meet as accident after his vehicle toppled.
