Bhatkal: Bhatkal police have arrested an 18-year-old youth under Protection of Children from sexual offenses on Friday for sexually harassing a 12-year-old boy.

Abdul Daim Fakardey, a resident of Goodluck Road in town, according to police dragged a 12 year-old-boy into and under construction house and sexually abused him.

The victim had lost his money while returning from a shop and was searching for it when Abdul, gagged him into the under construction house and abused him.

A case related to this  registered by victim’s grand mother.

Police later arrested the accused and presented him before the court, which sent him to judicial custody.
