Honnavar: Honnavar police taken a person into thier custody for purportedly murdering a 32 yearr old man at Hirebail.
According to the sources the accused man Mohan Marathe was a resident of Janakatkal village and had recently sold his two-wheeler to Nagaraj Yashvanth Mesta, a carpenter from Somanhonda village near Dibbanagalla. But sources say that the full amount for the two-wheeler was not paid.
To discuss on this matter both Marathe and Mesta met in Hirebail on 14th Feb but the discussion ended up into a quarrel over the money and it led to the murder of Nagaraj Mesta. Marathe had then buried the body in Hirabail. Based on the missing complaint by Mesta’s wife Honnavar police started an investigation leading then to Marathe.
Marathe was taken into police custody on Monday and during the investigation they learnt about the incident and recovered the body.
