Bengaluru: The Nawayath Club Bangalore (NCB) has come up with a new idea of Nawayath Cricket League (NCL) after the success in organizing Nawayath Football League (NFL).
The Nawayath Cricket League (NCL) is a franchise cricket league. The league is headquartered in Bangalore and as of 2016 consists of 8 franchises. It is operated by the Nawayath Club Bangalore (NCB) and was established in March 2016.
The Joint Convener of (NCL) hinted that the newly found tournament will be played in January, as the idea was mooted since May after the success of organizing NFL and could very well be in implementation in January next year. He also communicated that the Nawayath Cricket League, a cricket tournament for the people of Bhatkal and around, including Shirali, Murdeshwar, Manki, Shiroor, Byndoor etc.
The Matches will be Played on public holiday and weekends after 2nd week of january, the last date for the registration of players is set on 30th November 2016 which will be followed by Player’s auctions, dates for which and other details are yet to be declared and are awaited.
NAWAYATH CLUB BANGALORE
Nawayath Club Bangalore is a Nawayath multisport and activities club based in Bangalore, India. Nawayath Club Bangalore organized football event naming Nawayath Football League in May 2016 which resulted huge success. The league was consists of 6 owners and the players was bought by them in auction through the points system. Comfy FC was the Champions of Inaugural Nawayath Football League.
The club was founded in March 2016, NCB is a group of youngsters from the Nawayath community who have come together to have their interest in sports and other activities be productive by bringing them to the Nawayath community in Bangalore also with the sheer drive to keep the community closer and united.
