Bhatkal:  In a tragic incident, a youth identified as Imran lost his life in Mangalore hospital on Friday morning, after he was seriously injured in an accident happened at Jamia Abad road, near Shams school on last Saturday, 11 March 2017. 

Two brothers Salman (20) and Imran (15) were on their way home around 8.30 am on 11 March, when their bike skid while trying to save a boy who was crossing the road. Imran who succumbed to his injuries was pillion rider, while the bike rider Salman is also said be serious and admitted in Mangalore hospital.

It is said that Salman and Imran were working as a housekeeper in a house at Bhatkal. After finishing their night duty, they were on the​ way towards their home in Jamiabad at morning 8:30am. Unfortunately, a little boy came infront of their speedy bike, which made the rider to press the brake to save the little boy. But this gave an ugly turn as both rider and pillion fell off the bike after loosing the control.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station.
