Murdeshwar : During a raid by the railway inspector and excise department officers, illegal liquor has been seized in the general boogie of the Mumbai -Mangaluru Matsyaganda Express train. A total of 192 bottles of 180ml each of Goa liquor with honey guide brand worth Rs 10000 was seized in four different bags under a seat in the general boogie of the train. Accused are yet to be arrested.

Along with railway inspector Santosh Gawonkar, excise inspector K Manohar, excise sub-inspector Vishwanath Bhatt, Praveen, Kalappa and Mahadev Naik conducted the raid. Further investigations are on to locate the victims.
