Bhatkal: The grand opening ceremony of Madeena T20 cup cricket tournament was held at ANFA Kola Ground, Bhatkal, where a number of Islamic scholars, social workers, sports personalities and businessmen had gathered to witness the occasion. 

The cricket matches have started today, building immense excitement and entertainment for the audience for the next 25 days, where 34 teams will be competing.

All the teams participating in the tournament were gathered in their respective uniforms to attract the audience.

The ceremony was presided over by Prof Zarzari, President Madeena Welfare Society, Bhatkal.

On the occasion, Bhatkal DYSP Shivkumar, Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation President Imtiyaz Udayawar, Jali Pattana Panchayat Member Aftab Damudi, Madeena General secretary Moulana Irfan Sm Nadvi, Hidayat Maddas, Nayeem Motiya, Ameer Basha, Tabrez and many others were present.
