The Yellapur police have arrested four people who were alleged for illegal trafficking of cattle from Kolhapur of Maharashtra to Kasargod of Kerala. Around 18 cattle were protected during a raid conducted by the police.

An inquiry report on the September 29 Elphinstone bridge stampede in Mumbai that killed atleast 22 people has blamed heavy rain for the tragedy, officials said on Wednesday.
