The High Court on Wednesday stayed the state government's circular to ban the registration of new Omni vans as emergency response service ambulances in the state.

Six persons held in connection with the lynching of a 55-year-old man, Pehlu Khan, whose killing triggered a massive outrage earlier in 2017, have been given a clean chit by the Rajasthan police.
The police claimed that the clean chit had been given on the basis of evidence even as the victim's son termed it a "betrayal" and asserted that the family would seek another probe.
