Karnataka recorded an overall pass percentage of 52.38 in the second Pre-University (PU) examinations. The results were announced on Thursday by Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait.
Mr. Sait said that the results of the 2017 examinations held in March and April have declined compared to last year's 57.20 per cent.

A 17-year-old youth was today hacked to death here by members of an unidentified gang who severed his head and threw it inside the Reddichavavadi police station in neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
