The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has reduced fares on its Mangaluru-Bhatkal Volvo bus services and increased the frequency of buses.

The government today said the RBI has been authorised to conduct field trials of plastic notes of Rs 10 that have a longer life span. West Bengal's top cop today delivered the bailable warrant issued by the Supreme Court to a sitting Calcutta High Court judge Justice C S Karnan in a contempt case to ensure his appearance before it on March 31.
