The visit focused on strengthening ties and fostering long-term collaborations in traditional Indian healthcare practices, including Ayurveda and other complementary medical systems, to benefit both parties.

Mr. Sivan was welcomed by Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of the Thumbay Group, Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of Thumbay Healthcare, and other senior management officials. His tour included visits to the Gulf Medical University's educational and research facilities, Thumbay Rehabilitation Hospital, Thumbay Dental Hospital, and Thumbay University Hospital, highlighting their infrastructure, resources, and capabilities.

Expressing his appreciation, Mr. Sivan remarked, “Thumbay Medicity is a world-class facility, and Dr. Thumbay Moideen's foresight from 27 years ago has set a remarkable precedent for excellence. I am proud to see an Indian achieving such success in the UAE and appreciate Dr. Moideen’s significant contributions to the community. Our discussions were fruitful, focusing on a shared vision for community welfare and integrating traditional Indian knowledge, especially AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), into Thumbay Medicity’s offerings.”

He continued, “I am optimistic about our future collaborations and look forward to leveraging Dr. Moideen's expertise. We anticipate a long and mutually beneficial partnership.” Mr. Sivan also praised the Thumbay Group for pioneering a full-fledged Academic Health System in the private sector of the region.

Dr. Thumbay Moideen thanked Mr. Sivan for his visit and expressed enthusiasm about the potential partnership. “We are honored by the visit and eager to cultivate a strong partnership that benefits our institutions and the broader community. Thumbay Group is dedicated to raising healthcare and educational standards. Our three-year strategy aims to expand our offerings and set new benchmarks, focusing on creating an environment that fosters learning, innovation, and knowledge exchange, ultimately enhancing community well-being,” said Dr. Moideen.
