Kumta: Kannada and Culture minister Umashree will inaugurate a five-day Kumta Utsav which will begin on January 11 at Mahatma Gandhi ground, said Utsav Committee President Ravikumar Shetty.

He told reporters on Monday that National and International fame artists will perform and opportunities will also be given to local talents. Achievers in various fields will be felicitated on the occasions.

Apart from cultural and entertainment programs, food stalls, exhibition-cum-sale and an amusement park will also be set up. For the convenience of visitors, bus facilities will be provided until midnight, he informed.

District incharge ministers RV Deshapande, Priyank Kharge, Rudrappa Lamani and UT Khader will also take part.
